Top 5 Benefits of CNG

Clean: 90-95% cleaner burning than Gasoline or Diesel

Cheap: roughly 1/3 less than gasoline.  Currently (3-30-07) we fuel around $1.50 a gallon in Milwaukee.

Domestically Produced (US-Canada) Production:  the US produces 85% of the natural gas it consumes, with the remainder supplied by Canada.

Safe: Natural gas is harder to ignite than gasoline

Here:  Its here, now.  Natural gas vehicles are being deployed widely today.  22% of all new transit buses on order nationwide are CNG.
