Pragmatic Construction's Expediter Vehicles

We did a lot of research to determine which vehicles would be the most environmentally sound for transporting materials, tools and crews to jobsites where we do not need serious weight carrying or towing power.  Most contractors use trucks and vans that perform in the low teens for MPG- we knew we could do better.  Our workhorses are the Xbs and the Fit is for light-duty supervising runs (where we can't use a bike). When we need more muscle, we use our CNG van.

Scion Xb

2006, 31/34 MPG- carries 5 humans and a terrifying amount of tools.  With a roofrack it is pretty much the ultimate general contracting vehicle.

Honda Fit

2006, 33/38 MPG
