Excavation begins
...and finishes.
We set to building footing forms.
Beep means everything is perfect.
Get rebar into the forms.
No time for pictures while the concrete truck is filling our wheelbarrows. Here is the finished form with rebar in place.
Ready to start framing up walls.
This clothing selection made the morning after the Packers lost to the
Cowboys. Charlie shows a great lack of respect, especially after
winning a bet.

Checking plans.
The homeowners took a vacation so we took the opportunity to mob the
place. We loaded up to 10 people on the job to demo and
reconfigure. Here are some random shots.

Meanwhile outside the siding was pulled abd we insulated the walls with cellulose.
One day we came to the site to find a graceful fish leaping over the door.
After investigation we found that Chris and Ed had discovered a way to
use rafter cut-offs. Waste Reduction Strategy- .35 LEED points.
Adam and Charlie put up durable fiber cement siding.
Its a COLD day. We are going to tip up a wall anyway. We
have the air compresser, nail guns and Passlodes inside by heaters so
they don't freeze up on us.

Uneventful- just how we like it.
Time lapse... Bonus room over garage insulated with Bio-based 501,
vapor barriered (inspector demanded it) and drywall proceeding.
Interior remodel almost complete.
New dining alcove.

Bronson and Adam build the deck. Bronson is less blurry in real life.
